The Story
OzarksGo is a thriving internet and streaming company serving households and businesses across Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. With 40,000+ customers, their reach has grown rapidly over the last few years. OzarksGo came to our team with the hopes of ramping up their marketing efforts, especially within territories where they don’t have an electric footprint (they are a subsidiary of Ozark Electric Co-op). They were looking to increase the MoM growth of subscribers, but wanted to further invest in the digital efforts. They were also interested in revamping their overarching messaging and positioning within their markets, ensuring that they stand out amongst their competitors. Revival had the pleasure of collaborating with their executive team on a strategic brand relaunch campaign called "Keeping You Connected."
Brand Positioning and Strategy
The first thing Revival did with OzarksGo was conduct a comprehensive brand assessment and industry analysis. From analytics to take rates, we were able to work side by side with the OzarksGo team to dive deep into their customer journey and sales process. Upon learning about their business, inside and out, we began crafting a lengthy findings report and Go-To-Market complete with recommendations and a strategic plan to help them adjust their marketing and messaging.
The "Keeping You Connected" Campaign
After laying out a strong new strategic direction, Revival and the OzarksGo team began working on a concept to re-introduce themselves to the Ozarks region. The idea behind the campaign was to lean into the old-school, relational, regional homestead feel of the Ozarks. We also wanted to help OzarksGo stand out from the national and global competition. Why should you sign up for a local internet provider? Because we get that relationships and staying connected to one another is everything. This was the feel and vibe that our campaign was rooted in.
Video Production
Warm, family, connection, laughter, joy, and comfort. These are the words that describe a healthy home, and these were the visual cues our team leaned into for the video and photo for OzarksGo. Our vision was to tell the story of OzarksGo bridging the gap for making connection between family easier. From music streaming in the kitchen, to grandparents on a call with their college grandson, to a late night TV show... OzarksGo's reliable and fast internet service is making all of these things possible without hickups. We also wanted to show a visual of the OzarksGo team working behind the scenes to make sure service goes interrupted so we captured an internet technician working overtime to ensure great service.
Social & Paid Media
We identified that their biggest differentiation from other ISPs is their local footprint and a true, genuine connection and care for the NWA and NEOK regions. When you engage with OzarksGo, you’re talking to people based locally in Fayetteville, AR. That is the heartbeat of who they are – a business that was founded on the mentality of helping bring connection, all while prioritizing quality, exceptional service, and affordability. We created a foundation for the brand on both social and paid media with each of these things in mind, bringing to light that they exist to keep people connected through the highest quality of fiber possible.
The "Keeping You Connected" campaign was a great success. Feedback from the campaign was that OzarksGo was able to differieniate from the bigger players in their space and yet maintain a personal and trustworthy message to their home region. We also saw significant growth among new subscribers. The new visuals on paid and social also produced higher engagement and new followers.
