Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator to join our growing social team. This role is built for someone who is deeply plugged into digital culture, moves fast, and knows how to turn a concept into a scroll-stopping video. You're not just a consumer of social media; you're a creator who understands what performs, why it performs, and how to replicate that across brands.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Video Editing
- Own weekly content creation from concept through final edit – filming, editing, and delivering social-first video that meets client goals and platform best practices
- Edit short-form video content using CapCut, Edits, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools, including both original footage and pre-existing content
- Shoot quality content across multiple formats – iPhone, DJI, and professional camera – and know how to get a great shot in any environment
- Work alongside Social Media Manager and Production team on set – leading in content capture, client relationship management, and directing setup to ensure all concepts are captured effectively
- Track trending audio, formats, and cultural moments, and bring timely opportunities to the team before the window closes
- Pitch fresh creative ideas that challenge the conventional approach and push brand growth
Social Media Coordination
- Support daily management of multiple client accounts across Meta, TikTok, and other platforms
- Draft captions and copy for review, schedule and publish content, and maintain consistent brand voice across channels
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions, and engage with communities in a timely, on-brand way
- Assist with monthly strategy, content calendar creation, and identifying new platform opportunities
- Support influencer coordination, including communications and content review
- Collaborate across strategy, creative, and production teams to ensure social content needs are met
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of social media management and content creation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, PR, or equivalent experience
- A genuine pulse on what's trending across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Strong video editing skills with proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
- Experience shooting content across formats and environments
- A creative eye with the instinct to pitch bold ideas – someone who sees opportunity where others see limitation
- Solid understanding of what content performs on each platform and why
- Experience with community management and brand voice consistency
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- A self-starter who operates well with direction but doesn't need hand-holding
