Needs

As a place where many families turn to during times of uncertainty, stress, and unknowns, Circle of Life is a place of peace, rest, grace, and compassion. There is no better team or place to help you and your loved ones journey through health challenges or serious illness. Circle of Life is also so much more than hospice, but a place to find nurturing care and support through all kinds of health needs such as recovery to pediatrics to grief support. The unfortunate thing, is that too many people misunderstand what hospice is. It's not always that someone is at the end of life, but rather, hospice is about helping people thrive and get the specialized care they need wherever they are in their health journey. Telling this story and repositioning Circle of Life as a holistic wellness service became our focus through refreshing their website, branding, storytelling, and paid media.

Strategy

When we first began our initial strategy discussions with the Circle of Life team, we were immediately blown away by their level of care and detail in their own processes. No stone was unturned in an effort to help make their patients experience flawless. From talking with their executive team to touring their facilities, their industry leading level of excellence and hospitality was apparent. The Revival team was handed an amazing story to tell through design and creative.

Using The Storybrand Messaging Framework

Our first item was to help position Circle of Life as the trustworthy "guide" to their heroes: their patients and their families. We worked through a few strategy sessions to experience their client journey and understand the decisions that are presented when families are suddenly faced with hard decisions. Through this process, we uncovered terms, feelings, decisions, and language to help us describe the guiding support and navigation that Circle of Life provides. We also were able to document the level of precision and effort that Circle of Life goes through to empathize and service their community. We were also able to help distinguish the differences between their types of care and service.

Thoughtful UX/UI Design

The website design and messaging took inspiration from a few core ideas: an old fashioned scrap book, film photography, and floral wallpaper. Using a combination of nostalgia, remembering the delicacy of life and the seasons of a life journey, to leaning into classic and yet modern fonts, our design team modernized the Circle of Life digital story. Our goal was not to just build a new updated website, but to convey the feeling of excellent care, time with the people you love the most, and the fragility of health. We also enjoyed building out accordions and special content drop downs to help walk potential patients through their next steps, biggest questions and need finding in their decision making. The website ended up being a beautiful reflection of this vision and the precious team and community of Circle of Life.

The Logo Design Refresh

In addition to the website and messaging, Revival had the privilege of working with Circle of Life on touching up their logos and secondary branding. We updated color palettes, fonts, and iconography to stay grounded in their original brand foundation but also take a step forward in modern design trends.

Paid Media

In addition to website and graphic design work, our creative helped to reimagine the paid media plan for Circle of Life. Using the same look, feel, and messaging as the website, we proposed taking the advertising and media in a similar direction. Softer colors, more nostalgia, families, and emphasizing care language. We also carefully crafted copy to empathize with our core decision maker, the adult children of the elderly.

Deliverables

The Circle of Life team was a joy to work with. They were open minded, thoughtful, caring and very intentional about telling their story of service and care. The experience was more than pleasant on both ends and we could not be more pleased with the final results of the project.
